who, in your opinion, were the top 3 greatest racing drivers of all time……you can choose from the likes of Ayrton Senna, Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart, Juan Manuel Fangio, Gilles Villeneuve, Nikki Lauda, Alain Prost, Jim Clark, Graham Hill, Jacky Ickx, Dan Gurney, A.J. Foyt, Parnelli Jones, or maybe rally drivers like Petter Solberg, Marcus Gronholm, or Walter Rorhl, there have been so many greats…….these are some of the drivers i’d consider….how about you guys…….who are the greats to you?

I’m from another country, been living in Johnson City for 1 year and got hooked on NASCAR. Which terrace is the best to watch a race at Bristol Motor Speedway that is not so expensive. Of course i’m excluding suites and the very pricy seats.

Would also like to know what is the best way to get there, because I know it’s so crowded that it’s impossible to drive or to find a parking space. Are there any “buses” or transportation that may take you to and from the race?

I’m trying to find out some information about a british racing driver who died either while racing or testing on the track. I’ve check wiki etc and done some googling but can’t seem to find the exact guy i’m looking for. All I know is his surname was Taylor (or possibly Tailor) and that he died in the 1980s or the 1990s (i’m certain of these dates, there are others drivers of the same name who died earlier but the guy i’m looking for definitely passed away in one of these two decades)

Many thanks for your help.

around most of the world, Motor Racing takes place on race tracks which has left and right turns.

But why is it that in America that such races such as NASCAR and the IRL are on ovals and not ‘proper’ race tracks??

I know that some forms of racing in the US do race on ‘proper’ tracks but I dont see the thrill in oval racing!
