I don’t know who are those people you asked for, but let just say that senna was sympathetic dude and schumacher is not.

comparison are never fair. expecially, if the two person have never squared up with each other. both are brilliant drivers, and perhaps had it not been for an untimely death fo senna, one could have witnessed a great rivalry between he and Schumacher (correct spelling pleases).
but in the formula 1 circuits that is the unspoken truth, Senna was great.
Schumacher measures up in a way to Senna, coz he is the only driver who can win despite/inspite of a poor car or machinery. His wins in 2000, 2001, came at the time, where there were other superiour cars, but yet he triumphed.
The other place where Schumacher is to have a team work around him. The Schumacher-Ferrari management style is now being researched by management schools.
Bottom line : Senna is great, and Schumacher is my favorite

it would of bin good to see wat happend if arten senna lived and was against michael shumacher i think that michael wouldnt of won as many as he has!! michael has proven though wat a great driver he is and breaking many records
u cant say shumacher drove a bad car apart from the jordan!! i didnt see him do what damon hill did and drive and almost win in an arrows please he is a gd driver but aint that good

Schumacher is simply the best skilled formula one driver to ever hit the track, it is not simply luck that he has shattered every formula one record in existance, except for most formula one starts. Every single Formula One record of substance belongs to MS. I root for lots of other guys, but given equal cars, my money would be on Schumi. Occassionally he has had his clock cleaned… but its consistancy that makes MS special, He is consistantly at the top.

Schumacher is not as good as Senna because Senna was a true racer. He could race from the back of the field after a spin while Schumacher would drive into someone else and then blame the other driver.
Senna had a passion for racing that was contagious while Schumacher bores me to sleep.
I am pleased to see other drivers coming who are worth watching.
Schumacher has been lucky to get away with the things he has done. He can drive but he is no racer.

Senna was a better racer and he was very brave and sometime dangerous. Schumacher is a better thinker and he is the best driver of this period because formula one have a mediocre level of drivers and true champions are a few

It’s a difficult comparison to make, but I might give the edge to Ayrton Senna, based on his early performances in less than stellar machinery. I’m thinking specifically of his races with Toleman-Hart in 1984 (he almost won the Monaco GP) and Lotus in 1985/86/87. Arguably, Lotus was on the way down at the time, yet Senna managed to win six races with the team. Of course his drive in the rain at the 1993 Donington European GP was magnificent and he did hold the record for the most pole positions until Michael Schumacher recently surpassed it at Imola. On the other hand Michael Schumacher’s record speaks for itself; he is a great driver and the records he’s set will last for a long, long time, if not forever.
