Matt W asked:

Will Force India be more productive in their second year in F1? They have a new engine contract with Mercedes-Benz, and a year’s experience under their belts. They also have the advantage that all teams are starting from scratch on their 2009 cars. But will it make any difference to their performance?

1. Will they score any points this season?
2. Will they qualify in the midfield this season?
3. Will they get a podium this season?

The show aired March 03, 2009. They used a type of Binary Explosives that where perfectly legal and would only explode if they were shot by a high velocity projectile. They never released the formula compounds because of safety reasons. Does anyone know the recipe?

My son has been spitting up A LOT lately and he’s just turned 5 months at his age babies usually stop and now i’m thinking it’s the milk that is not agreeing with him. Because it’s settled at the top i think there might be something wrong with it AND because he’s having spitting up problems….he’s always spit up but not this much

I love the 2008 Pontiac Torrent, but I don’t need a brand-new car. How much will it depreciate in one year? The MSRP is around 24K for it brand new right now. Is there a standard formula across the industry or does it just depend on the car?
I live in zip code 31302. That is in coastal Georgia, USA.

Basically what I’m looking for is either a macro or formula to help me use data more efficiently in excel. In one instance, I am working off a receivables aging but rather than having it set up as you would normally think of it, I have the amount due in one column and then the number of days past due in a separate column. So I need to be able to count all of those items 30 days past due, 30-60 days past due, etc and I also need to be able to sum the items 30 days past due, etc. I typically use COUNT and SUMIF but I can’t get those to work when I need to say greater than 30 but less than 60 and greater than 60 but less than 90. I know I must be writing something incorrectly.

I also have a spreadsheet where I have a column of dates and I need to know how to sort it into separate quarters. So I need a formula/macro that would look at each date and separate it into 1st quarter 2009, 2nd quarter 2009 and so on.

On another note, I have been thrown into a role at work where I’ll be doing all of this on a regular basis. I only know basic excel formulas so I could use a course on macros and formulas but I can’t seem to find a good one. I tried a community excel course but it was too basic for me. I looked at college courses but no one seems to offer an advanced excel course. Any ideas?

Sorry for being so long.

He tested the F2006 car at Valencia and he did very well :) on 4 wheels. I was very impressed :)
But, since his 2008 season will be his last with Yamaha with the 2 year contract signed, I think it’s time “The Doctor” switched the bike with a Formula One car for the 2009 season.

What do you think??

Thanks.

Now that nearly all the new cars have been launched, with just Torro Rosso and Force India left to launch (and Honda if they get bought), what is your opinion on the new cars for the 2009 season, and which one do you think looks the best?

I personally think they look GREAT! and im loving the design of the Renault and Red Bull :)
