I have an excel document that contains several sheets specific to each account. Columns A (Deposits), C (Interest accrued for the month) & E (disbursements) contain dates while columns B, D, & F contain the amounts for each transaction. Column G contains the running total for each month B+D-F. I need a formula that can disperse the amount of interest accrued for the month between the different accounts/sheets assuming there is money in that account at the end of the month in which the interest was earned. For example I accrued $1,146.00 of interest for the month of January 2009. I need a formula to go in column D that divides the $1,146.00 among the different spreadsheets based on each account’s average daily balance on 01/31/2009.
Thanks!

Intelligent EXEL answer PLEEEEEZE Help!!?
Hi Exel folks, I am late on a report, I am trying to copy a formula down a full columm say column B (about 200 rows long), I want to type the formula in say B1 and have it look like =A1+14 and have A1+14 appear in B1. There is a date in cell A1 so the B1 if A1 was Jan 1 then B1 becomes Jan 15, This part works. Heres my problem, I then want to take that formula in B1 and copy it to B2..B200 by dragging and dropping or cut paste and have the formula in b2 look like =A2+14, and =A3+14 etc etc, this part also works, but since there are different dates in the A column the resulting formulas in column B should be different too and basically equal =(Acolumn)cell + 14 and have it supply the answer,, this sheet is changing the formula ok, but is displaying the value from the original B1 result answer , I have never had this happen before and have been using excel for 15 years, I always type the formula once and copy and paste it through a range and it calculates appropriately………..See example below pllleeeeease help to tell me what control parameter or optional set up I need to change Mike

How well will Mike Conway do in the 2009 IndyCar Series with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing? Mike, 25, is the 2006 British Formula 3 Champion and won the 2006 Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix. Formula 3 is a non-spec racing series. Mike has raced in the GP2 series recently and tested with the Honda F1 team.

For 185 years the cycle of 2009 calendars is the same, but … the cycle before it is 12 years and after it is two more consecutive 6 year gaps. How does it go 11, 11, 6, 11, 11, 6 for almost 200 years and then change pattern.
Leap year has been around much longer than 1891, correct? There isn’t a “leap century” with 30 days in February or something?
I could research this but have other work to do right now. Thanks.

ronwizfr … i pasted in what i found when i googled it - perhaps that’s wrong but i know no better - so, my question is based on that which i pasted in the details field above - hope that helps you understand …
… and for answerer #2 … thank you for sharing - that’s all very impressive - but it doesn’t answer the question — thank you if you were trying to teach me something, bring me to a higher plane of thinking, but i’m afraid it didn’t work …
Can anyone point me toward the exact formula that is used to calculate a family’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC) for college expenses that comes from the FAFSA? I am looking for the actual numbers and/or percents, not a vague definition or answer listed in some FAQ section. I’m particularly looking for the formula for the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 years.
I need help with a math problem…
My goal for 2009 is 10,289
the current amount I’ve raised is 4,742
I know I need to raise 5,547 to achieve that goal. How do I calculate the percentage left to my goal. Like the percentage of how close I am to completing the goal. For some reason my excel formulas don’t look right.
I’m kind of thinking of it like fund raising. How do they calculate the percentage of money they’ve raised in relation to the goal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I bought SVR 2009 and i was just wonderin’ would the 2008 formulas work for ‘09.
I don’t really have the time to do them myself and i don’t wanna play yet without my AJ Styles and Jay Lethal lol.
So can you help or try it out for me because i don’t have much time to spare.
