Well, I would say the Singapore Grand Prix for its atmosphere. And I heard they were going to tweak the circuit for more overtaking and less bumps. Monaco is classic (and old); perhaps that’s its downfall. But Abu Dhabi would be the dark horse (although Singapore is darker) given that it would be its debut season with renowned UAE ultra-modern and super-extravagant facilities and circuit.
Melbourne is the first GP, not Sepang.

I think you’re getting confused between the spectacle and excitement of a race and the ambiance and atmosphere of a venue/city.
I always look forward to the race at Spa…
As for cities, I’ve visited Singapore and hate it, but Kuala Lumpur is okish - certainly less sanitised than Singapore. The only things I can recommend in Singapore are an original Singapore Sling in Raffles Long Bar, Sentosa Island and the food….all prohibitally expensive of course! Their banking is good though.
KL is more user friendly, the food’s excellent, people are friendlier and not up-themselves, Sunway Lagoon is great fun as is the night market, and everything is accessable at half the price or less than Stinkypore.
UAE is a different proposition and holds little or no appeal. I’d rather go to another country in the region.
Anyway. F1? Exciting? Without hindsight? Spa!

Well you can rule out Monaco and Valencia - they will be the most boring races of the year.
Best race will be in the far east, probably Malaysia.

I think Sepang, the 1st GP of the season is always exciting to watch, with a lot of overtaking ! but for sure the Asian circuits will be the most entertaining Grand Prix, those in Euorpe are getting more and more boring !

I’m looking forward to all the races this season, but the one I’m looking forward to the most is the race in Abu Dhabi.

I love the Singapore night race, not only is the country fantastic it makes a great race to watch.
I love Monaco, history, and always danger, can F! ever get another place like this? It has all what F1 is about.
Looking froward to Abu Dhabi. Should be a cracking race to watch.

Round 1/ Melbourne…. first race under the new rules…. potential “first day back at school” mishaps…. possibility of a few crashes.
Round 8/ Silverstone… last British Grand Prix there…. likely to see “Hamilton-mania” in full swing…… and the race at Silverstone often has lots of action.
Round 12/ Belgium…. race at Spa-Francorchamps can often turn out pretty crazy due to the weather.
Round 15/ Japan…. returning to Suzuka this year…. often seen quite a few mad races there ‘cos of the weather.
Round 16/ Brazil… as we saw at the end of 2008 season (and a few times before), that race can often end up pretty chaotic & mad due to the weather.

Spa has never failed to serve up excitement for me. I still remember Hakkinen overtaking Schumacher AND Zonta at the same time in 2000. Simply amazing stuff there.
Street circuits will always have better atmosphere. However, as a race, Singapore circuit was crappy, with poor overtaking options. I still remember the many many laps almost all the drivers were stuck behind Trulli and later on Fischella.
I am not a fan of Herman Tilke’s circuits either (other than Sepang)

well i’m looking foreword to abu dhabi because its a new venue. BUT i think spa has, and will always be, the most exciting race in terms of action and drama. This year could be different, though, because of the new rule changes that will supposedly allow for more overtaking.
