There is usually an autograph signing session during the race weekend where they bring out the drivers from two teams at a time.

Usually on race weekends, few drivers will have Autograph sessions. This usually happens on Thursdays (the day before the actual F1 action starts)
This is what usually happened in the past 5 GP’s in Bahrain. I assume its the same in all other F1 races

.
Dunno about the driver’s, but the hierarchy do.
Max is up for a photo session most thursday afternoons in the basement of ‘a good friend’ for a $ large fee. Fans and paddle bats are de rigeur.

Hi. If you attend a GP weekend check out the ‘named’ stalls, ie Mercedes, Ferrari, Honda etc and look on their notice boards. they will tell you when a driver will be available for signing. what they do is a quick interview on the stand then they do a walk around and sign autographs. they will be on one side of a barrier and you will be on the other. If there is one particular driver you want then try to get to the front by getting there a few hours before he is due to arrive. that way you can get some good shots too.
You will be very lucky indeed if the driver has time to pose for a shot with you, although test driver Pedro DeLa Rosa will often take the time.
If you really want to get up close to the drivers then I advise you go to a testing session and pay the extra for the paddock access. that way you will catch them hanging around and they might pose with you. Mark Webber posed with me and my friend then said thank you to us. very courteous nice man. I also have photos of my sister with Ralf Schumacher which we got at Brands Hatch when we went to watch him drive in the DTM.
