Alain Prost won the French Grand Prix six times: 1981, `83, `88, `89, `90 & `93.
Michael Schumacher won the European Grand Prix (at the Nürburgring) six times: 1994, `95, `01, `02, `04 & `06.
Jim Clark won the British Grand Prix five times: 1962, `63, `64, `65 & `67.
Juan Manuel Fangio won the Argentine Grand Prix four times: 1954, `55, `56 & 57.
Nigel Mansell won the British Grand Prix four times: 1986, `87, `91, 92.
Michael Schumacher won the German Grand Prix three times: 1995, `02, `04.

Michael won the German GP 3 times, but he also won 6 European GPs (’95, ‘00, ‘01, ‘02, ‘04 and ‘06) which were also held in Germany (Nurburgring), making a total of 9 wins in his home country.

Yes, but it’s a tie between him and Alain Prost. They’ve both had six wins at their own home race.
Michael also holds the F1 records for: most career wins (91), most wins in a season, most career pole positions, most points during a season (148 in 2004), most consecutive world championships (5), most consecutive race wins (2004), most podium finsihes (154), most laps leading and most fastest laps (76).

it does help that for a time there are 2 grand prix in Germany
there should be a west coast race
