Kaci Ells asked:
I live in Detroit, and was looking for something fun to do today, the red bull air races (hosted my Windsor this year) are going on over the Detroit river, i’ve heard they usually have a good turn out of fans, but all the reviews ive read say that it’s a horrible event. Can anyone tell me if this is something that would be worth my time?

I have found that it never hurts to do something without the input of others. What is good for you may not be what is good for them. I don’t care what one persons opinion is. If I want to go to an event that I may have interests in I would go in spite of what others say. I may have not been what they expected and therefore they could have been disappointed. That doesn’t mean it was a disappointment to all. You be the judge.
I waited to see a movie that I thought would be good because others said it was horrible and when I finally saw it I really liked it. Even though it got terrible reviews I found it entertaining. I think experiencing something because you want to is what’s important. You are your own person and perhaps you will have a different experience than someone else had had.
I would go if I were you. It may be fun. You never know, something exciting could happen.
