Zowne asked:

I need to weigh my motorbike for an upcoming race, and was wondering what the best way is to go about it.

If i had two scales, could i put them each under a wheel then add the weights on the scales? (or would this give greater weight as the scales may be sharing some of the same weight, therefore, counting it twice?)

Also, as i only have one set of scales, how would i manage to do this with one? Is there a formula i could use after putting the scales under each wheel and recording the two weights?

Please only answer if you actually have an educated answer/idea.
Thanks

Is it true that gears can be shifting without using the clutch on a motorbike, and any negative effects? This applies to vehicles using sequential transmissions. As usual, changing gears is done when you let go of the throttle first, pull the clutch, change gears, and then throttle up again. Some people, who claim you can change without the clutch, simply let go of the thottle and change the gear, and throttle up again. ALthough i never do this, i always use the clutch, I always throttle down and engage the clutch simultaneously, and THEN change the gears.

NOTE: The sequential manual transmission (or sequential manual gearbox) is a type of manual transmission used on motorcycles and high-performance cars for auto racing, where gears are selected in order, and direct access to specific gears is not possible.

With traditional manual transmissions, the driver can move from any gear, to any gear, by moving the shifter to the appropriate position. This type of transmission is often referred to as a H-pattern because of the path that the shift lever takes as it selects the various gears. A clutch must be disengaged before the new gear is selected, to disengage the running engine from the transmission, thus stopping all torque transfer. In auto racing, this process is slow and prone to human error; hence the development of the sequential transmission. A true sequential transmission will very often use dog clutch engagement rather than the more usual syncromesh as fitted to a normal H-pattern road car gearbox. Engagement using dogs only requires a very brief interruption of engine torque to complete a shift into any adjacent gear. This allows shifting between gears without the use of the clutch. The clutch would normally be used only for standing starts.

Once upon the time, there was this old 2D racing game, for 2 players. To be played with the Nintendo SNES machine. The layout of the game is cartoon, with buff animal-like humans racing 2-3 wheels motorbike. U can get some weapon on the race track and use it ( there was bomb, there was somethin that looked like sh** too). Oh and there was speed-up pads as well.

I really really really love this game. And I’d really really appreciate your help !!!!!! Thank you!!!!

I don’t remember name of a movie I saw as a child.

Movie was all about street racing where a group of people in teams compete against each other to get to a destination (like hundred miles away from start).
(a) One of the teams has two guys. They are riding a motorBike. The driver keeps on performing wheelie all the distance and his team mate keeps on telling him to use both wheels so that he can sit comfortably.
(b) Second team has got two (or probably three) voluptous girls and it’s shown that they get around things by using their low necklines. For eg. when a cop stops them, one of them jumps out and unzips her jacket till her navel revealing her cleavage.
(c) Another team has got a man who tells that his father worked for 40 years in a coal mine and he had planned to spend rest of his life enjoying but when he actually got retired he died in a few days without doing anything. This guy cites poor story of his dad life to reason his passion with illegal and non benifitting act of street racing. This team has also got a doctor and a woman.
(4) Next team has a rich womanizer Guy. He keeps great company of nice looking women, cool gadgets and alcohol and boasts about his experiences of challenging life.

There are probably a few more teams. If I remember correctly the team of voluptous girls win this competition. The story switches from adventures of one team to another.

Please name this movie if you’ve a seen similar plot.
